David Gilmour Joins Body Count for 'Comfortably Numb' Revival in a Sonic Collaboration. David Gilmour from Pink Floyd is featured in a new video that features Ice T's heavy metal band Body Count covering the iconic song "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd. In the video, Ice T rapping, the band performing, and graphics displaying the words are intercut with black-and-white pictures of Gilmour performing the song's guitar section. "Body Count's version of 'Comfortably Numb' is quite radical, but the words really struck me," Gilmour remarked upon the song's release. "I'm in awe that a song I wrote more than 50 years ago is returning thanks to this amazing new tactic. They've made it relevant again. "Comfortably Numb" is currently available on digital platforms.
